According to data from market research firms, apartment transactions in Q1 2018 declined by 40% compared to the same period last year. The outlook for Q2 2018 remains uncertain, with concerns that the market may continue to stagnate.

In addition to limited supply, the apartment market is facing significant pressure from public opinion, as thousands of projects labeled as “high-end” have been delivered with quality and amenities falling below expectations. Furthermore, following a series of recent apartment fires, many homebuyers have decided to delay their purchases in order to carefully evaluate their options before making a decision. As a result, buyers are now applying stricter criteria when selecting apartments. Beyond location and amenities, they are increasingly concerned about construction quality and safety standards for residents.
